Project RISE

Raising Awareness • Inspiring Change • Enabling Action

From Campus to Community – Creating Informed Choices, Healthier Lives, and a Sustainable Future.

About the Project

Project RISE is a flagship initiative by Eco Hub Foundation designed to bridge the gap between awareness and action in menstrual health. It follows a Campus-to-Community model, where students are empowered as change leaders to spread awareness, promote eco-friendly menstrual practices, and drive sustainable impact at the grassroots level.

Our Vision

To create a society where every girl and woman has access to safe, sustainable and stigma-free menstrual health practices, while also protecting the environment from menstrual waste pollution.

Our Mission

● To empower students as Menstrual Health Ambassadors
● To promote eco-friendly menstrual products and responsible usage
● To enable peer-to-peer education for deeper and relatable awareness

● To build a sustainable model of community outreach driven by youth

                        How Project RISE Works

Campus Engagement
We collaborate with colleges to conduct:
● Awareness sessions on menstrual health
● Training programs for student ambassadors
● Competitions, discussions, and leadership activities

Student Ambassador Model
Selected students are trained to become peer educators, who:
● Lead awareness sessions within campus
● Extend learning to villages and communities
● Act as catalysts for behavioral change

Community Outreach
Students take the initiative beyond campus to:
● Conduct menstrual awareness sessions in rural and underserved areas
● Educate on safe usage and hygienic disposal
● Encourage the shift towards eco-friendly sanitary alternatives
Key Focus Areas
● Menstrual Health Awareness
● Eco-Friendly Sanitary Practices
● Safe Disposal & Waste Management
● Breaking Myths & Stigma

● Youth Leadership & Community Impact

Why Project RISE Matters

Millions of women still lack access to safe menstrual practices, and conventional sanitary products contribute significantly to plastic pollution. Project RISE addresses both challenges by combining health education with environmental responsibility, creating a long-term, sustainable impact.

Impact Approach
● Peer-to-Peer Learning ensures better acceptance and relatability
● Youth-Led Change creates long-lasting behavioral transformation

● Campus to Community Model expands reach and scalability
