About Us

Due to lack of awareness about menstruation approximately 23 million girls drop out of the school every year and there is a rise in health issues and as per the statistics 71% adolescent girls remained unaware of menstruation till their first period. While 70% of mothers with menstruating daughters considered menstruation as dirty. Further, 79% girls and women are unaware of menstrual hygiene practices. Therefore, Our vision is to create awareness about menstruation and the harmful effects of the use of menstrual related products that contain

plastic and chemicals.

Our Mission

We aim to eliminate period poverty, enhance menstrual hygiene, and protect the environment through the distribution of free organic sanitary Sanitary to underprivileged girls aged 12 to 18. Since, only 12% of the 355 million menstruating girls and women in India have access to sanitary products. While 64% use traditional methods, which include the use of hay, sand, ash and rags. As a result, we are advocating menstruation hygiene among girls / women, wherein we advise them to choose plant based, Eco- friendly Menstrual products.

About Our Founder


Vaishakha is the dynamic and forward-thinking founder of Eco Hub Foundation, a pioneering organization dedicated to advancing women's menstrual health while championing environmental sustainability. With a deep passion for both women's rights and the environment, she has become a leading voice in the movement to create a healthier, more sustainable future for all.

Driven by the belief that menstrual health and environmental sustainability are interconnected, Vaishakha founded Eco Hub Foundation with a clear mission: to provide safe, eco-friendly menstrual products to women and girls, especially those in underserved communities. Her vision is to eliminate period poverty while reducing the environmental footprint of menstrual products.
